The best NA and EU teams will compete this weekend for a prize pool of $10,000

The Death Slam Invitational NA #3 will kick off this weekend with $10,000 on the line. Floormen, FPS Lounge, Melee Creeps, and Abrahams were directly invited, while Lowkey W, Leviathan, Bird with Clock, and Chubby Bunnies survived the weekend’s double‑elimination qualifier.

The double elimination bracket runs May 23–24. Upper bracket winners stay on the comfortable side; losers drop down with no margin for error. One team walks away with the Death Slam title.

On Saturday, the teams will play until the Winners Finals match or the Losers Round 3, and on Sunday the Losers Finals and Grand Finals will be played. The matches on both days will start at 1pm EDT.

Teams

  • Floormen

The dominant team in NA, they won the last 4 DLNS without losing a single game, recording a 10‑0 record against other teams in the region. While they are dominant in NA, they don't perform as well against EU teams. In the R1 Tourney, they stopped in the group stage – important to note, they played with a ping disadvantage. Expectations are high this time. The team is the best by far in NA and will have better ping against the EU teams.

Team Roster: Dimov, AVG, Zeno, League, DMB, and rocker

  • Melee Creeps (MLC)
MLC must be the main challengers against Floormen in the NA scene. They made recent roster changes and are starting to fall into place, with a solid win versus FPS Lounge in the Challenger bracket of DLNS NA #39. It’s true that Floormen swept them in the money stage; however, MLC has a lot of potential and they are not afraid of testing heroes or team comps that sound controversial. Maybe the big question is how the team will play against EU teams like Lowkey W or Abrahams.

Team Roster: JonJon, eidorian, dew, fishcake, Saiah, and RangeRns

  • Abrahams
One of the powerhouses of the EU scene. Abrahams started the year very dominant. However, they saw Lowkey W grow and take the top spot of the region; also, Leviathan tightened the competition. Perhaps the loss of Dimov and Hoot has affected the team too much, since the duo found success in their new teams. They will play for the first time in an NA event this year, so it is a little uncertain how they will perform, but they are expected to finish among the top 4.

Team Roster: arzo, empty dreams, sanya_sniper, together, Tas, and saintmxsm

  • FPS Lounge
The last invited team, completing the top 3 of the NA scene. FPSL had some impressive performances, like winning DLNS NA #34 and #35 and finishing top 4 in the Death Slam Invitational EU #1. However, they saw their performance drop and seem to no longer stay close to MLC or Floormen. The team recently swapped Erebus for Poppers, trying to bring some fresh air. FPSL has some quite big flaws, but with Hydration and Rocaine they bring a lot of experience from other games’ big stages. So expect them to fight to reach the second day.

Team Roster: rocaine, Poppers, Lefaa, Snakes, hydration, and LOMEIN

  • Lowkey W
Despite not being directly invited, Lowkey W is the big favorite for the Death Slam Invitational NA #3. They are dominating the EU scene, winning the last 3 DLNS EU and the R1 Tourney without breaking a sweat. They also played last weekend’s qualifiers and won all 4 games without any trouble, which includes victories against Leviathan and BWC. Keep an eye on Vraic’s Apollo, who consistently delivers outstanding performances with the hero.

Team Roster: Zerggy, vraic, obikym, hoot, cosmetical, and Lystic

  • Leviathan
Another EU team that put in a very impressive performance in the qualifiers was Leviathan. Even with a ping disadvantage, they won against BWC and Chubby Bunnies without much effort. In the EU scene, they are head‑to‑head with Abrahams as the second‑best team. This time they have a chance to prove themselves against the best teams of NA as well, so expect to see them fighting for a spot on the second day.

Team Roster: oses, Freemok, overseas, Reyache, sai, and Irezumi

  • BWC (Bird With Clock)
Bird With Clock performed well in the qualifiers and was able to overcome all their NA opponents, which included Chubby Bunnies. However, against the EU teams, they were far from repeating that success. Instead, the team seemed flawed and posed no huge problem for the EU teams. They will need to fight for survival in the event, and it is very likely that they will have a short stay.

Team Roster: Arctic, fl0z, tanner, POSHYPOP, Maht, and gibz

  • Chubby Bunnies
The last team qualified was Chubby Bunnies. Throughout the weekend, they won against the best SA teams – Requiem and Backstabbers – with very solid performances. However, when matched against BWC or the EU teams, they couldn’t respond and didn’t represent any danger. Of course, they could overcome the odds, flip things upside down, and be the biggest surprise of the tournament, but it is more likely that they will have a very short time participating.

Team Roster: braeden, LordNM, Goober, zirbzy, Calculator, and gfreek
