W Tourney 03 took place this week, with Buff Enjoyers claiming the title after a marathon Grand Final against Leviathan. They regained their momentum after losing to this same Leviathan in Deadlock Night Shift EU #62.

The group stage kicked off last Tuesday, with Kastalia emerging as the new top-3 team in Europe, leaving Abrahams behind. They won all their recent encounters, including the DLNS EU #62 qualifiers and two matches in W Tourney 03 — one in the group stage and another in the playoffs. Buff Enjoyers and Leviathan reaffirmed that they are the top two in the region, with Buff Enjoyers taking the advantage in recent matches.
The playoffs took place last weekend, with Buff Enjoyers dictating how they play the meta and being the most efficient team in W Tourney 03. Leviathan had their moments, especially in the Grand Final, but they fell short against the pragmatic play of Buff Enjoyers. Kastalia continued their climb to become one of the top EU teams; in this W Tourney 03, they surpassed Abrahams to reach the third spot in the region.

sanya_sniper complained on his Telegram channel about the current state of the game. The matches are lasting so long with too little action.
“In all 5 maps, both teams had super low kills, just pure AFK farming. You literally stand there hitting creeps for 20 minutes, a couple of teamfights, and it's over. At least before you could take Mid Boss at minute 15.” cosmetical commented on his X account, saying the current meta doesn't fit the way Leviathan likes to play.
“This current meta doesn't fit leviathan's way of playing anyway, of course they are unhappy with this meta, it is definitely more of a farming/carry meta and that is not something leviathan as a team likes to play”
